‘Panchpran’: PM Modi’s 5 pledges to make India a developed nation in 25 years

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday called for moving forward with 5 pledges to fulfill freedom fighters' dreams by 2047.
Addressing the nation for the 9th time from the historic ramparts of Red Fort, PM Modi said "India must be a developed nation in 25 years".
"I urge youth to dedicate the next 25 years of their lives for the nation's development; we should work towards the development of entire humanity," the PM said.
Modi said India will have to move ahead with big goals to fulfil the vision of a developed India in the centenary year of its Independence.

In the coming years, the PM said we have to take 'Panchpran': First, move forward with bigger resolves and resolve of a "developed" India; second, erase all traces of servitude; third, be proud of our legacy; fourth, the strength of our unity and fifth, duties of citizens which include the PM and CMs.
