‘Divide AAP & join us, will close all cases’: Manish Sisodia claims he got this offer from BJP

NEW DELHI: Delhi deputy chief minister and AAP leader Manish Sisodia alleged in Ahmedabad on Monday that he received messages stating that if he split the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by breaking away, the cases registered against him by the CBI will be withdrawn and he will be made Delhi chief minister.
Asserting that he had no ambition to become CM, and that Arvind Kejriwal was his political guru, Sisodia said that he cannot be threatened with cases.
Accompanied by AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Sisodia is on a two-day visit to Gujarat.

Asked who sent the message to him, Sisodia said, “The persons said that they were entrusted with the task of facilitating leaders like Mukul Royu, Shuvendu Adhikari, Himanta Biswa Sarma and B J Panda to join the BJP.
"It was shocking. I got a message that all cases against me will be withdrawn and I will be made Delhi CM if I break the party. I have no ambitions to be CM. My only dream is that every child gets the best education," Sisodia alleged.
FIR has been registered against him in connection with alleged irregularities in formulation and execution of the Delhi excise policy case.
AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal alleged that the cases registered against Sisodia are because of “AAP’s growing presence in Gujarat."
He added, "All these cases are because of the Gujarat assembly elections. Manish Sisodia could be arrested in the next few days. Many others will also be arrested, even me. All this will stop after December," Kejriwal said.
Lookout circulars against 8, but not deputy CM: CBI
Sisodia's latest tweet comes a day after he targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, claiming the CBI has issued a look out circular (LOC) against him. However, agency officials denied this and said the LOCs were issued against eight “private” individuals named in the FIR registered in connection with the alleged scam in framing and implementing the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22.
Two of the accused are abroad, sources said.
